Our development process

  1. Enquiry and feasibility — we review your brief or reference sample and come back with material options, an indicative price and a realistic schedule.
  2. Specification sheet — leather, lining, colour, size curve, closure, construction, branding and packaging are written down and agreed in writing.
  3. Development sample — 7–10 days. You receive a sample from your intended material and construction, plus a full size set for fit approval.
  4. Revision — fit, shade, stitch density and finishing are adjusted until the sample is signed off. We seal the approved sample as the production reference.
  5. Bulk production — 25–35 days after artwork approval, with in-line inspection on your batch.
  6. Packing and dispatch — packed to your specification with the documents you need, on your preferred Incoterm.

Sample cost and timing

A development sample is charged at the unit cost of the specified material, with a small additional development charge, and the shipping cost. Sample charges are normally credited against a confirmed bulk order. Expect 7–10 days for a sample, and a further 3–5 days for shipping within Asia, 7–12 days to Europe and North America by express courier.

Private label and contract manufacturing

If you are launching your own label, we can work to a full brand package — your logo, your colour card, your hang tag and box artwork, your barcode scheme and your care and origin labelling. Many buyers start with our private label programme to see how the packaging and branding stages fit together.

A note on sample expectations

A hand-cut leather sample and a machine-sewn production sample are not identical in finish — this is normal in leather goods, and it is why we seal an approved production sample rather than working from a supplier’s showroom model. If a specification sits outside what the workshop can produce reliably, we say so at the feasibility stage rather than after the sample is made.
