Qingye Gloves is a direct leather glove manufacturer based in Deqing, Zhejiang, China. Since 2005 we have cut, sewn and finished leather gloves for importers, brand owners and distributors in more than 60 countries. Because we manufacture in our own workshop rather than trading through a middle layer, you get factory pricing, a factory answer on lead time, and one point of contact from the first sample to the final container.
What we manufacture
Four product families cover most of our output, and each one is backed by a full size curve and a repeatable production standard.
- Men’s leather gloves — dress, casual, driving and winter styles in goatskin, sheepskin and lambskin.
- Ladies’ leather gloves — evening, fashion and winter ranges in lambskin, sheepskin, goatskin and goat suede.
- Leather driving gloves — perforated goatskin designs with open-back, elasticated or strap closures.
- Leather mittens — insulated winter mittens with fur, fleece, wool knit and teddy pile linings.
Why importers choose a direct manufacturer
Buying from a factory is not only about unit price. It changes how the whole supply chain behaves.
- Margin — no trading margin is layered between you and the people who actually cut the leather.
- Consistency — the same pattern, stitching and finishing standard on every repeat order, so your reorders match your original delivery.
- Flexibility — material, lining, colour, closure and packaging changes can be made mid-season without re-tooling a new supplier.
- Communication — you deal with the workshop, so questions about a specific batch get answered by the people who made it.
- Compliance — material declarations and test documents are produced from our own supply chain, not forwarded from a third party.

Materials and how we select them
Leather choice is the single biggest driver of both cost and performance, so we would rather talk it through than just offer a price list. Goatskin gives the best balance of durability and weight. Sheepskin is softer and more relaxed. Lambskin has the finest grain and takes the cleanest stitch, which is why it dominates dress and evening ranges. Suede gives a matte, tactile surface. Deerskin, carpincho and peccary are available for premium programmes in smaller volumes. Our leather glove material guide sets out the differences in more detail.
How an order runs
- Brief — share a reference, a sample or a specification. We respond with feasibility, material options and an indicative price.
- Sample — a development sample is produced in 7–10 days, with a full size set and your branding applied.
- Approval — you confirm fit, colour, packaging and labelling, and we lock the specification sheet.
- Production — 25–35 days in the workshop, with in-line inspection on your batch.
- Shipment — we pack to your specification, issue the documents and arrange the freight you prefer.
Frequently asked questions
What is your minimum order quantity?
100 pairs per style and colour. A larger order across more styles usually gets a better unit price, and we quote on that basis.
Can you produce to our own colour and branding?
Yes. We dye to your reference and can add your logo by debossing, embossing, metal plate, embroidery or printed label, with your own care tags, hang tags and retail packaging.
Do you offer samples before bulk production?
Yes. Development samples take 7–10 days. Sample cost is normally credited against a confirmed bulk order.
How long does bulk production take?
Typically 25–35 days after artwork approval, depending on order size and season. We confirm the schedule in writing before production starts.
